XP has been controlling the sound waves and inserting adrenaline into the heart of the Bay since he was musically inclined to buy a drum set when he was 11. He harnessed his knowledge on various instruments from acoustic guitar, piano, bass and drums and transformed it into a thickened, edgy slap sound. Guaranteed to blow your speakers, half the time XP is turning down the bass to keep your pockets from being broke by thrashed magnets in your subs.
Co-siding with Crank Jai from the beginning, XP has already had one independent release producing Shameless' "If This Asphalt Could Talk" and his upcoming album with San Quinn, Messy Marv and Mr. Kee. These albums were a solid first step for an uprising producer. Under the dull fog of the Bay Area, XP dwells in the lab on a daily basis churning out new slaps to sicken the masses.

Crank Jai is the radical reverend of the lyrical gospel, send to offend the masses and dictate nothing but the truth to a plagued audience of those searching for more meaning in their music, more emotions, more feelings and more reality. Infusing a gutteral tone in his voice, and combining hip hop with the hardest edges of ganster rap, twisting it back for a slide on the smooth tracks, and then finishing it off with solid references to his life as a menace in the suburbs dealing with the things behind the scene that aren't spoken on.
Politically poised to attack, Crank Jai has been lacing lyrics to spirits since he was first encarcerated at Thunder Road at the beginning of his life's trials. He was introduced to the MC lifestyle in its rawest from: battling. He takes what his opponent may try and equip and demolishes it with a solid blow of unearthly might.
Crank Jai has been featured on tracks with Shameless, Dapp Daiels, Fam Syrk, ShoTyme, Young Mont, Cadillac Todd, Triccy Mac , Ant-Dawg and others, all while preparing for his first solo release, "The Many Faces of Crank Jai", due to be released in Spring of 2005.
